This highly carved early bench has origins that have escaped us. It has a beautiful warm color rich in dark tones. The crudely hinged 1.75″ thick doors riddled with wormy holes are pulled by their punched brass pulls to reveal an interior storage area complete with a 7″ depth shelf. Detailed claw feet – front and back. The carved drop apron surrounding the solid single board top wraps around the piece making this perfect for use in the center of a room.
