1920’s The New Yorker Hotel Silver Solvered Pitcher

$175.00

1920’s-1930’s, Silver soldered/ silver plate, pitcher from The New Yorker Hotel. This pitcher is heavy and solid. It’s actually vacuum insulated to keep whatever the pitcher is holding at it’s intended temperature. Very lovely piece made in the art deco design just like the hotel was built.

According to the hotel’s website, The New Yorker was,”Built in 1929, during the height of the Jazz Age” and touted such guests as, “Nikola Tesla, John F. Kennedy, Joe DiMaggio and the Brooklyn Dodgers” to name a few. Imagine that this piece may have been used by one of them.
