This is a fabulous English pine welsh dresser, kitchen hutch.  The shelves have grooves to hold plates for rack display, each shelf also has antique brass hooks for hanging mugs or spoons, etc.  Three drawers for smalls storage and each side with a cupboard door and an interior shelf.  We love the center opening for displaying that fabulous piece of pottery or vase, etc.
