English Victorian Aesthetic Faux Bamboo Shaving Three Panel Triptych Rotating Mirror 56″H
An English Victorian-era triptych folding mirror on tripod base – all of carved wood to mimic the look of bamboo. Crafted in the aesthetic movement period in England, this piece has a center rotating square surface, the three paneled mirror rotates 360 degrees as does the table. The center mirror also pivots up and down. In amazing condition for its age, appears to have likely had a pull out tray that is missing (but you can see support rails underside) and also likely had a brass cup holder that screwed into the brass mount to hold shaving cream.
Dimensions: 56″H x 31″W (Center 14″ Square)
Only one other example of similar piece was found online listed at $7,500 by a New York City antique dealer.
