A wonderful example of an oversized wicker mill basket. A beautiful early woven wicker basket of fantastic proportions with iron banding to the lid, integrated handles to the sides & original painted lettering to the front & both sides. A stunning example. Early 20th century.

Wear commensurate with age, unrestored. Good solid condition with the usual minor wear & losses, no woodworm or rot, stable with a bit of movement as is the norm for a larger heavier basket.

A grand size storage basket or trunk, original paint, animal hyde strap hinges and forged iron hardware.

RC and KY lettering painted in black on front, each side has numbers 9164 painted in black, back is free of any painted lettering or numbering.
