This piece is grand enough for most kitchen collections – beautifully incorporating carved details and openwork.  Five drawers for small and medium wares and two cabinet sections on either side of an open “cage” with lift up gate.  Could be a little napping place for a furry friend, or back in the day these were said to hold the chickens before dinner.   Two pieces, wax finish, some distressed areas and patina.
