A vintage or antique Native American possibly Cheyenne design/made warrior shield. Made of deerskin over buffalo hide, natural pigments, sinew, willow frame, hand strung bells, talon feathers. This piece came from us from a collector who purchased it from an upstate collection. He purchased it as an original antique, however we are unsure of its age.  It certainly has many characteristics of such. Sold and valued as a very good quality vintage reproduction, mid 20th century.
