A true piece of Indian folk art, this very large, vintage Anglo Raj fabric elephant in ceremonial costume was created in Rajasthan, India, C. 1950. Fabricated entirely by artisan hands with cotton textiles, mirrors, beads, and embroidered accents. Almost 4′ wide and VERY heavy.
