Although this piece is likely made in the 1960’s in America, it clearly has an art deco influence.  The piece is not marked by its maker but our restorer feels very strongly its American in origin and in the style of Wolfgang Hoffman (and he has been restoring mid century pieces for too many years to disclose 🙂 It is well constructed of solid cherry.  The chrome legs have been lightly polished but they still have some patina.  The carcass was fully stripped and refinished.  If you look hard enough you can see some minor areas where it needed filling from some bumps and scrapes.  It has a shellac finish.
