A beautiful antique 19th century French slate top side table, entry table, occasional table. There is a painted design on the surface of the slate which has a nice beveled edge. The slate is not permanently attached to the table but heavy enough it does not move.  Nice hardware on the dovetailed drawer with a chamfered bottom. The apron of the table has a beaded trim edge and the legs have scrolled feet.  The details on this table are amazing and its finely made. Definitely has patina showing its age with some loss to finish, bumps, scrapes, scratches etc.
